This may seem strange to some, but my favorite party from 2010 was held by my friends, Larry & Marcia Ogden, when Larry needed some help stripping the paint off the body of the airplane he's restoring.
There was not a disco ball or pair of high heels or fancy clothes anywhere to be found. What there was instead, which was so much more fun from my vantage point: great people united around a single, meaningful project.
It may not have been glamorous, but it sure was fun!
Sounds like a great party to me! Did your dog attend? :)

Ha - Hilary, Scout and Ellie would have loved to have attended (Ziggy, Larry & Marcia's dog is one of their favorite doggie friends), but with all of the toxic stripper, they had to stay at home (and much to Ziggy's chagrin, he had to stay in the house!).
